Multi-Store SaaS Platform

We built a full SaaS platform where anyone can launch their own online store — or ten of them. Subscriptions, storefronts, and orders managed from a single system.

Multi-Store SaaS Platform

About the project

Think of it as building YouCan from scratch — but with our own rules.

This is a full SaaS e-commerce platform. Anyone can land on the homepage, pick a plan, subscribe, and launch their own online store. No code required. No third-party store builder. Everything happens inside the platform itself.

Merchants can create one store or several. Each store has its own products, orders, and customers. The platform handles everything — billing, storefronts, access control — from a single codebase.

Three types of users. One platform.

Super Admin

Owns the platform. Manages all merchants, all subscriptions, all stores from a master dashboard. Can suspend accounts, adjust plans, monitor platform-wide activity, and configure global settings.

Admin (Merchant)

Subscribes to a plan and gets access to their workspace. From there, they can create one or multiple stores, add products, manage orders, and track their performance. Each admin is completely isolated — they only see their own data.

Client (Shopper)

Lands on a merchant’s storefront. Browses products, places orders, makes payments. They never interact with the platform itself — just the store the merchant built on top of it.

How it works, step by step

1. Landing page with pricing Visitors see what the platform offers and choose a plan — Starter, Pro, or Business. Each plan defines how many stores the merchant can create and which features they unlock.

2. Subscription & onboarding After payment, the merchant gets instant access to their dashboard. First step: create a store, give it a name and a domain.

3. Store setup The merchant adds products, sets prices, uploads images, and configures their storefront — no dev skills needed. The store is live as soon as they publish it.

4. Orders & management When a client places an order, the merchant sees it immediately in their dashboard. They process it, update the status, and the client gets notified.

5. Growth If one store isn’t enough, the merchant creates another. Same dashboard, different store, different niche.

For merchants (Admin)

  • Multi-store creation within their plan limit
  • Product management — variants, images, pricing, inventory
  • Order management — status tracking, fulfillment, history
  • Storefront customization — branding, colors, homepage layout

Starter1Up to 50Email
Pro3UnlimitedPriority

Payments are handled through a secure gateway integration. Subscriptions renew automatically. Failed payments trigger a grace period before access is restricted.

Tech stack

  • Backend: Laravel — API, authentication, roles, subscriptions, multi-tenant logic
  • Frontend: React — merchant dashboard, super admin panel, public storefront
  • Payments: Stripe (or local gateway) — subscription billing + storefront checkout
  • Database: MySQL with tenant-aware data separation
  • Auth: Laravel Sanctum with role-based access (super admin / admin / client)

What this platform solves

Most e-commerce builders force a merchant into a single store. If they want two, they pay twice — and manage everything in separate places.

This platform was built differently. A merchant subscribes once and gets the infrastructure to run a multi-store operation from day one. The platform scales with them, not against them.

Results

Platform in active development. Metrics to be added on first merchant cohort.
